Return & Refund Policy

1. Overview

Dev Sankalpam is committed to providing exceptional service. This Return & Refund Policy outlines our process for handling returns, refunds, and cancellations of services booked through our platform.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • More than 7 days before puja date: Full refund minus 5% processing fee
  • 3-7 days before puja date: 75% refund of the amount paid
  • Less than 3 days before puja date: No refund, but can reschedule to another date
  • On the day of puja or after completion: No refund or rescheduling allowed

3. Refund Processing

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of cancellation
  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
  • Refund processing typically takes 5-7 business days
  • Bank may take additional 2-3 days to credit the amount
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider

4. Non-Refundable Items

  • Service charges and processing fees
  • Donations/Dakhina contributions (as per religious practice)
  • Prasad delivery charges (unless service is not provided)
  • Partially completed services

5. Rescheduling

  • You can reschedule your puja to another available date without penalty
  • Rescheduling requests should be made at least 3 days before the original puja date
  • Based on availability, we will accommodate your preferred date
  • If the new puja date has a higher price, the difference must be paid
  • If the new puja date has a lower price, credit will be issued for future bookings

6. Service Issues and Refund Requests

If you are unsatisfied with our service, please report the issue within 48 hours of service completion:

  • Incomplete puja performance
  • Poor quality video delivery
  • Missing items in prasad/chadawa
  • Non-delivery of promised services

We will investigate the complaint and take appropriate action, which may include:

  • Re-performing the service
  • Offering a partial refund
  • Providing credit for future services

7. Failed Payments

  • If a payment fails, no booking is confirmed
  • You are free to retry payment without any penalty
  • We do not charge additional fees for failed payment attempts

8. Disputed Transactions

  • If you believe a transaction was made in error, contact us within 30 days
  • We will investigate and provide documentation of the service
  • We will work with your bank to resolve any disputes

9. Exceptional Circumstances

In case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances (natural disaster, extreme weather, pandit unavailability), we will:

  • Notify you immediately
  • Offer to reschedule to a later date
  • Provide a full refund if rescheduling is not acceptable

10. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or cancellation:

  1. Log in to your Dev Sankalpam account
  2. Go to "My Bookings" section
  3. Click "Cancel Booking" for the relevant puja
  4. Provide a reason for cancellation
  5. Confirm cancellation

11. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Return & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
